about
Most advertising is just noise on an already crowded street.
Reboot strives to inspire an enduring dialogue among everyday people.
It’s amazing that with all the technological advancements and the seemingly bottomless bag of tricks that advertisers use to get our attention, that the most contagious form of marketing remains word-of-mouth. True, some modes of sharing have shifted to the digital sphere, but nonetheless: individuals are still twice as likely to try something that has been recommended by someone else first (and not necessarily someone else they know).
Reboot sees an opportunity in this form of social legitimacy. Our approach to advertising and marketing begins with establishing an unshakeable foundation for your brand, both in creative development and strategic positioning. Then, through carefully executed initiatives, enticing people to do what is natural – pass it forward – to organically build a strong connection to your brand.
These days people are wary of aggressive marketing tactics, and we don’t blame them. Which is exactly why a typical marketing ploy won’t work, but a positive, eye-opening contribution to their lives will.
Our values: fearlessness, hard work, transparency, clients we believe in, a Carneros pinot noir
Our services: brand development, art direction, marketing strategy, social media, consumer analysis, website builds, graphic design, copywriting
The media: web, digital, print, out-of-home, mobile, event, guerrilla, anything unusual
Earning their stripes at Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing agency of 2010 as original employees, Sara and Jessica have spent more time working together than they care to admit. Their mutual love for creating great advertising and drinking red wine has brought them even closer, close enough to begin their own agency. What Reboot offers its clients is ten collective years of hard lessons learned, knowledge gained and successes earned.
The Founders
Compelled by the belief that quality advertising can positively influence the way people view and interact in the world, Jessica is responsible for the strategic development and tactical execution of all Reboot campaigns.
Over the years she has worked with national brands such as One Medical Group, RadioShack and MetroPCS, start-ups like children’s entertainment company Seasons Studios, and nonprofits including Drink Good – Do Good. Such a wide range of exposure has given her the experience needed to ensure that both business and creative objectives are balanced to best grow a brand, regardless of size, budget or expectation.
Because starting one’s own business isn’t time-consuming enough, Jessica is also a founding member and current president of AD2SF, a nonprofit that nurtures the budding careers of young advertising and marketing professionals.
True fact: Jessica was once a certified polar bear.
Standing a mere 5’ 3”, this miniature powerhouse runs the entire creative arm of Reboot.
Inspired by brave artistic expression and modern design trends, Sara has played instrumental roles on national accounts such as MetroPCS, Comcast and Extreme Pizza, as well as local institutions like San Francisco Cocktail Week and Pathways For Kids. Anyone who works with Sara immediately recognizes her sharp eye and talent for visually communicating a brand’s core message. It’s not too often that you come across a creative who is not only incredibly talented, but who can adapt their work to function across various mediums.
Sara is also, wait for it, district coordinator for the National Student Advertising Competition, a member of the National Student ADDY Task Force Committee and past president advisor of AD2SF.
True fact: Sara doesn’t weigh enough to go ziplining.
